Egyptian - Large Ushabti - Late Period

Description: From the Late Period, ca. 664 to 332 BCE, this faience ushabti is pale-green in colour. Detailed facial features; arms are folded, holding a pick and hoe. Hieroglyphic inscription is centered on legs. Likely a grave good. 6.5" H

Provenance: ex. California Gallery, ex. private collection acquired in the 1950's.
